Live Earth UK must keep lights on

A Live Earth blog has noted that the plans by Live earth concert Organisers to get everyone across the UK to turn the lights of during the concert have run into a real problem. It seems that when we all switch the lights on again this could cause major problems for the National grid and for places like hospitals. The concerts seemed like such a good idea but they have already been criticised. Some bright spark re-christened them the "private jets for Global Warming" concerts. So views on them seemed to be very mixed. It would be interesting to hear what people views are on this.

Spinal Tap at Live Earth

Further news about the Wembley Live Earth Concert is that Spinal tap the fictional group that was the subject of the film This is Spinal Tap are reuniting for the Wembley concert. That should be a real treat!

Live Earth Concerts

The Live Earth Concerts in July will be another massive worldwide event to rival the previous Live 8 event. Tickets for the Wembley event went on sale recently and were massively over-subscribed - although they may appear for resale on sites like e-bay. The line up for the UK and US events has been announced and details are on the official Live Earth Web site and the Live earth blog
